Please read all haunt policies, as they’re designed to keep guests, volunteers, and staff safe. Keep in mind the following:

HAUNT RULES to know before you arrive at the property, which are key to ensuring that you have a safe and fun visit:

1. We cannot offer refunds for your ticket purchase (except in the event we cancel a night of the haunt due to weather or other circumstances), but we are happy to exchange your unused haunt entry ticket for any other night this season.
2. Madhaunter’s Madhouse is a very popular attraction. This means that on most nights there will be lots of people at the haunt, and wait times may be long. The time slot on your ticket is your arrival at the property, NOT your entry time onto the trail! The gates open at 7 pm, our pre-show begins at approximately 7:15 pm (dependent on how much light is out, as the monsters only come out in the dark), and the attractions will open shortly after the pre-show has concluded.
3. October nights in Virginia can be very cold or wet. The main attractions and the line to enter is outside, please dress for the weather and your comfort. We want you to be warm, dry, and comfy, especially if the line is long. The trail is in the woods and may be uneven in areas, so closed-toe flat shoes are highly recommended for your safety. NO HEELS, FLIP FLOPS, OR SANDALS!
4. Parking for the event is free. Please follow staff directions and signage to enter and exit the parking area. Please use caution as the event will be busy and the parking area may be crowded.
5. First responder night is limited to one free entry into the attraction for: Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, EMT Personnel, Active-Duty or Military Veterans, and K-12 Teachers. You MUST present a valid and current county or Military ID for free entry.
